We recently visited a number of the show rooms in NYC and, after a lot of enjoyable and scrupulous investigation, here’s our inside look at what’s in store for this fall. Overall, we saw a forward and innovative market for Fall 2010. Knitwear is the top classification this season driving new silhouettes, details, and intricate workmanship. New fabrications brought the knitwear trend to other classifications to create fabrics such as laminated tweeds, rubber, and embossed embroideries. The top hues have ranged from all jewel tones to a “new” blue. This color range has brought warmth and wealth to the collections creating a fantastic regal theme for this upcoming season.
