Hats – Men’s and Women’s
Black satin fedoras, trilby panama fedoras, and gambler felt hats are all making a comeback this holiday season. This classic is proving to be a perfect accessory or centerpiece for all assembles, from daytime casual dress, to evening outerwear.
Gray and purple are standout colors among belts this holiday season, and seem to bring a structure and edge to many women’s garments. Thick, high-waisted belts are a particular standout, as they accent evening dresses and accentuate curves.
Winter White Dresses
While white dresses have always made appearance around the holiday season, but this year designers are taking this classic and applying a softer edge to their evening dresses. From head to toe, cream-colored dresses are soft and striking, and are all the more exuberant when paired with darker and bolder accessories.
Along with the ever-trendy fitted black dress, long, free flowing regal dresses, are also trending this holiday. “Jewel tones” seem to dominate the spectrum with ruby red, dark purple, royal blue, and emerald greens all making an appearance.
More than ever, jackets are becoming a statement piece. Everything from an eclectic patchwork of material, to unique shapes, and striking sheen, are being shown. Some noteworthy details include widened arms and shoulders, big collars, cocoon backs, and built-in hoods.
Flat Riding Boots
The trend in heelless shoes has now moved to boots. These round-toed, knee-high boots are not only comfortable, but appropriate for a wide range of assembles, from short evening dresses, to skinny jeans.
